As march comes to an end, I've added my March contests to the back in the day page. This is from March of 1986, and March of 1988. It is very interesting to see the trick progression.

Today was Colin's first game. He played against the Giants. He was two for two (two hits, for two up to bats) and even nearly caught a ball for the other team, barehanded, as he was on base... (we're still working on baseball basics)

Today was "Opening Day" for baseball in the Cal Ripken Junior League in Simi Valley. Colin walked through the ceremonies, and was introduced to a crowd of about 400 people. Kari is one of his team Mom's so that is very cool. Camden is just excited about getting a baseball outfit to wear to Colin's games. Colin's first official game is this week, and I think he is going to be playing first base. We are thrilled with his team, and he picked number 7 all by himself. It's surreal to see him entering this stage, because it is another reminder that he is growing too quickly.
