Our tradition of going to the Polar Express continued last night in Fillmore. Now in all fairness it was in the mid 40's, so coats were warranted. What can we say, we can't take cold anymore! The boys had a blast, and what trip to the Polar Express would be complete without a yuletide teacup spin. |

It happens. My mom used to say it all the time. Now I understand it. One day you turn around, and your kids grow up. It is great for them...learning, growing, experiencing. It is just strange being on the parent side of things. I want all those things for him,and more. But I don't want to lose my little boy. It's a dance really. I pray I can learn the steps, and remember them long after he no longer needs to be led. |

As a follow up to the previous post, I want you to meet Keith. He is one of the students at God Cares School in Uganda. As of this weekend, Keith wasn't sponsored. That means he didn't even have a mosquito net to sleep under at night - atop of his bare mattress. Keith is now sponsored by our family, but 200 of his friends are not. You can help by clicking here.
