My first show in about 6 years. This was for my son's school. I kinda felt like i was 13 again, and wasn't sure what to do. I accidentally ripped my trick list off the bike about 2 minutes in, so i had to improvise. : ) I went mostly old school with the tricks, i guess out of just instinct. I also noticed, that my style is slower and more controlled than it used to be. I will say however, it's good to be back.

December back in the day update

Back in the day competition from Columbus, Ohio. I remember breaking an axle in practice before this routine. We were able to find another one quickly and get it in, but as you'll see I had other bike issues. :) I also ended up riding to the wrong song... a friend cued up the tape to wrong spot.... : ) aaaah the memories.

This competition is going way back in the day. This is one of my first Masters events and as you can see, I was preeeeettttttty nervous. It's fun to look back on these. So many memories about the trip there ...ridingin the back of an Iroq-Z, to being rear-ended in said Iroq-Z, to watching the pro's session at jam circles. I think there were nearly 100 people in my class at the time, 14-15 expert. Those were the days when the sport was booming. To check out more of the old school competitions just click here.

Camden - First baseball game

Camden's first baseball game today. This is his first at bat ever, and he got a hit! He was super excited, and was a little overwhelmed. Of course his big brother has to say a few words after.

Camden began his first day of Pre-K today. He was a little nervous but gave us the thumbs up before it was all over.

September has always been a busy month. Back to school, back to sports, back to the daily routine. This month seemed to be a busy freestyle month as well. I've uploaded four September contests from back in the day. The September 1988 Masters event was a pretty good run.

Proud moment today as Camden lost the training wheels. Proud and a little sad. I LOVE how he rocks a "no footer" at the end! I wonder where that came from? Special Colin commentary at the end...
