So we learned that Guns N' Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed used to live in the house we now live in, and when he isn't on tour, he still drops by the neighborhood to play poker. Kari got to meet him tonight, and he was a super nice guy. He was gracious enough to give her an autographed CD. It says "XO Kari, My house is nice!! Dizzy Reed, Guns N' Roses '07"

We had the Beres family Christmas today. Santa showed up, and made us all believe once again.

Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad Beres's house. There are now two tables that are set up for Thanksgiving dinner. Mom Beres says the next step is a new build out. Dad Beres says the next step is Holiday Inn Express.

While visiting Ohio, our boys got a nice treat of snow. Actually, Camden didn't remember having seen it ever before. Life is full of moments, we must just take the time to recognize them.

We live in the digital age with more to do, to watch, to experience than ever before. Yet playing cowboys never go out of style.

We all have those things that we love to do. I've been able to ride a few times this week, and I can tell that it fills my tank. Rather than feeling tired, it seems to give me energy, and renewed creativity. It's been a while since I have ridden, and the fun thing is that my my body just remembers what to do. In fact if I try to think about and analyze a trick, my thoughts seem to get in the way. Another interesting thing, I seem to not have any problems regaining the "yard" or scratching tricks.
(kicking one of the wheels to move the bike) But I am having problems regaining spinning tricks. Anyway, with some time, I hope I will be able to get back to where I once was...and then start to progress. You know what they say, it's just like riding a bike, and I love it.
