One of the benefits of living in Southern California, is visiting memorable places from tv and film. We have only been here a few years, so there is still so much to do! Well, today was one of those days. We decided to spend the day checking out some cool sites. Here's a look at some of our favorites. |

| Red Belt |

 |
Kari was awarded her red belt tonight, for all of her hard work. She is now on the fast track to her black belt. That means six months of consistent training, and she should be ready to test for her black belt in April of 2009. |

| 12th Anniversary |

 |
Twelve years ago today, Kari and I were married. We were able to get a sitter and spend the day together, which was nice. It is funny, but we really don't feel any different than we did twelve years ago. It's just now we have more responsibility, two children, and less money. Seriously though, Happy Anniversary to her for putting up with me. |

| Father's Day |

Growing up, I think I didn't comprehend the full meaning of most Holidays. In fact I probably still do not when it comes to holidays like Father's Day. But, I can say that I am incredibly blessed with these two miracles, as I try to figure it all out. Thanks boys for the honor of figuring it all out together. |

| Colin's First Trophy |

Baseball awards today, and for Colin it was a day he's been dreaming of for years...his first trophy. He is stoked that it is personalized for him. It was a cool party at a local park with water games, free food, and a couple of moon bounce deals. |

The Calvary Drama Team had its end of the year party today. Awards, zaniness and lots of laughs. Kari received three awards in all. Best Actress in a comedy, Best Comedy, and Best Westlake Snob. |
